ENFISPO: la base de datos de enfermería, fisioterapia y podología ¡cada vez mejor!

La base de datos ENFISPO, base de datos de acceso abierto y gratuito en castellano del ámbito de las ciencias de la salud, especializada en las áreas de enfermería, fisioterapia y podología, de la Biblioteca de la Facultad de Enfermería, Fisioterapia y Podología de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, no deja de hacer mejoras en los últimos tiempos. Ahora incorporan una novedad significativa, un nuevo tipo documental: las tesis doctorales. Esta incorporación no solo amplía la diversidad del contenido, sino que también refuerza el  compromiso con la calidad académica y la investigación. Enhorabuena al equipo de profesionales que hay detrás!

Actualmente, la base de datos ENFISPO alberga 1.402 tesis doctorales, y va a seguir aumentando su número en los próximos meses. Este logro ha sido posible gracias a la colaboración con Dialnet desde 2022 y al mantenimiento conjunto del recurso. Los usuarios/as de la Biblioteca HUF disponéis de un acceso directo a la base de datos en nuestra web, bajo el desplegable de «Otras BD Bibliográficas».

Novedades en la interfaz de Web of Science (WoS): más y mejor

En la última formación de FECyT sobre la Web of Science (disponible a través de la BVCSCM en el portal de recursos de la Biblioteca HUF, tanto en el apartado de BBDD bibliográficas como en el de Publicación Científica) se destacaron las principales novedades que incluye la plataforma y que mejoran y facilitan las búsquedas, también se recordaron otros aspectos no nuevos pero igualmente interesantes. Recordamos algunas de las que se explicaron por si os resultan de utilidad:

• Ahora está disponible el Grants Index, un recurso que permite localizar la financiación y subvenciones recibidas por trabajos científicos.

• Se ha incluido un asistente de inteligencia artificial (IA) que ofrece sugerencias de palabras clave y la posibilidad de combinarlas con operadores equivalentes a los tradicionales OR, AND y NOT.

• Se pueden utilizar caracteres especiales al buscar (útil para nuestra Ñ, pero también para la ß alemana o caracteres matemáticos). Además se han reindexado los nombres de los autores para admitir esos caracteres.
• Se han incluido nuevos filtros rápidos como ODS (Sustainable Development Goals) o el Open publisher-invited reviews (donde se puede comprobar la identidad de los revisores e incluso las anotaciones, sugerencias, etc. aportadas en sus comunicaciones)

• Si nos identificamos con nuestro usuario personal, encontraremos sugerencias de lecturas (Recommended for you) complementarias en la parte inferior de la página en la que nos encontremos, incluso podemos configurar en qué queremos que se base el sistema para ofrecérnoslas (Edit recommendations por nuestro historial o por los últimos documentos que hemos seleccionado)
• Finalmente, nos llamó también la atención la inclusión de citas provenientes de patentes. Es decir, ahora WoS, desde el perfil verificado de un investigador, incluye la información de si sus trabajos han sido citados en alguna patente (muy útil de cara a la nueva tendencia de bibliometría narrativa al ser algo diferenciador de esas citas):

Actualización de nodos de áreas temáticas de la base de datos Joanna Briggs Institute EBP

La base de datos JBI EBP de práctica basada en evidencia en el campo de Enfermería y ciencias afines, disponible en la Biblioteca HUF a través de la Biblioteca Virtual de la Consejería de Sanidad, se ha ampliado para cubrir 33 campos de distintas especialidades en Enfermería, Medicina y otras ciencias de la salud afines.

JBI ha agregado o actualizado 14 nodos de áreas temáticas en la base de datos de JBI EBP disponiéndose ahora de más de 30 especialidades. Todos los recursos basados en evidencia dentro de la base de datos JBI EBP (más de 5000 temas clínicos) están alineados con uno o más campos de especialidad, supervisados por un Grupo de Referencia de Expertos (ERG) internacional que identifica y revisa por pares temas prioritarios de práctica clave para garantizar la relevancia y el impacto en la práctica clínica. Los nodos de área temática actuales, utilizados por JBI en la indexación de contenido en su base de datos serían los siguientes (resaltados los nuevos/actualizados):

OVID actualiza su interfaz de usuario

Desde WoltersKluwer nos comunican el lanzamiento de la nueva interfaz de usuario de Ovid el 25 de enero de 2023. Esta versión contiene un rediseño de la función Share Search History, historial de búsqueda, que hace la pantalla más compacta y limpia para facilitar el acceso a la barra de búsqueda y los resultados de búsqueda, especialmente en pantallas pequeñas.
El nuevo menú desplegable Share Search History contiene las siguientes opciones, como se muestra en la siguiente imagen:

• Enviar todo el historial de búsqueda por correo electrónico.
• Copiar enlace del historial de búsqueda.
• Copiar detalles del historial de búsqueda.

Formación online sobre la Web of Science en octubre

Nos informan desde la Biblioteca Virtual de la Consejería de Sanidad que FECYT pone en marcha el II Ciclo de Formación online de Web of Science, desde el 03 al 21 de octubre de 2022. Serán 15 sesiones gratuitas, en español, de 75 minutos de duración, y casi todas, en horario de mañana. Estas formaciones están dirigidas a la comunidad universitaria, personal de bibliotecas, comunidad investigadora y cualesquiera personas usuarias de la base de datos WoS.

El plazo de inscripción a estos cursos ya se encuentra abierto a través del siguiente enlace: INSCRIPCIÓN. Es necesario inscribirse con una cuenta de correo institucional (los correos comerciales como Gmail serán automáticamente descartados) y datos personales (datos que aparecerán en el certificado de asistencia, el cual se genera automáticamente una sola vez y recoge todos los cursos a los que se ha acudido durante este II Ciclo).

Las jornadas serán grabadas, y al cabo de unos días, podrá consultarse el vídeo de la sesión, así como acceder al material de la formación, que estará disponible en la web, el día siguiente de la celebración de la jornada.

Como novedad, los asistentes a la jornada de formación online deberán responder al 100% de las cuestiones online que se planteen durante la sesión en directo para recibir la encuesta y el posterior certificado de asistencia (a las tres semanas de finalización del ciclo de formación).

Lo mismo pero de otra manera: nueva organización de los recursos electrónicos de la Biblioteca HUF

En las bibliotecas nos preocupamos de conseguir aquellos recursos que consideramos que nuestros usuarios necesitan para satisfacer sus necesidades de información. Concretamente en las bibliotecas de los hospitales nos encontramos un perfil de usuario que aúna, en muchas ocasiones, al clínico, al docente y al investigador, y que, según el sombrero que ese día lleve puesto, necesitará distintos recursos.

En ocasiones, disponemos de tanta oferta informativa que no sabemos por dónde empezar. Intentando facilitar el primer acercamiento a la colección disponible en el Hospital Universitario de Fuenlabrada, que incluye lo que se suscribe más lo que nos ofrece la BVCSCM, desde la Biblioteca hemos reorganizado los recursos que la integran. Esperamos haber conseguido el objetivo :-) si no es así ¡hacédnoslo saber!

Lo primero que hay que tener claro es la URL de la Biblioteca HUF: http://m-hflr.c17.net, la podemos tener guardada en nuestros marcadores, sabérnosla de memoria o… poner en Google Biblioteca Hospital Fuenlabrada que también se llega ¿verdad?

Una vez aquí, entramos con nuestro DNI y la contraseña que eligiéramos en su momento (porque estáis registrados ¿verdad? si no es así, habrá que pulsar en «Alta de usuario«) ¡seguramente ya no vamos a tener a volver a usar más contraseñas para entrar en ningún recurso! Además de los catálogos de Revistas y Libros, y el formulario de petición de documentos, en la parte izquierda de la página hay un menú vertical de accesos directos a los distintos recursos que integran nuestra colección. Veamos cómo los hemos agrupado (IMPORTANTE: ¡los epígrafes son desplegables!):

• Acceso directo a PubMed: no hace falta explicarlo :-) es la principal base de datos a la que acudimos cuando queremos revisar qué se está publicando sobre determinado tema, qué trabajos tiene determinado autor, hacer una revisión bibliográfica en profundidad (sistemática) o de alcance (scoping)…
• Otras BBDD bibliográficas: porque hay vida más allá de PubMed… tenéis acceso a recursos de la calidad de Embase, MEDLINE-OVID, Dialnet, y si sois del campo de Enfermería tenéis CINAHL, CUIDEN Plus, ENFISPO…
• Apoyo a la práctica clínica: este apartado lo hemos dejado desplegado porque es el que contiene la información de uso inmediato, en el punto de atención al paciente (PoC), contenidos elaborados y filtrados para que no tengáis que revisar artículos, libros, etc. sino la información validada y basada en evidencia, preparada para su uso directo. UpToDate o la Biblioteca Cochrane no necesitan presentación pero existen otras fuentes filtradas más especializadas que tal vez podáis descubrir: Dynamic Health y JBI (la Joanna) para Enfermería; ImmunoQuery y ExpertPath para Anatomía Patológica; OrthoEvidence para Traumatología y Rehabilitación; STATdx para Diagnóstico por Imagen…
• Recursos monográficos: aquí hemos agrupado distintas plataformas muy especializadas: Micromedex y BOT Plus para Farmacia; POSSUM sobre síndromes y malformaciones; las clasificaciones de tumores de la OMS; el atlas radiológico IMAIOS eAnatomy; los manuales para técnicos de radiodiagnóstico, anatomía patológica, laboratorio; incluso el Aranzadi de legislación y jurisprudencia, etc.
• Recursos transversales: es decir, aquellos que cubren contenidos muy amplios temáticamente (siempre dentro de la Ciencias de la Salud) y/o de distintos formatos de publicación: el descubridor Etheria (lanza la búsqueda que deseemos en todos los recursos de la biblioteca); la plataforma ClinicalKey (revistas, libros, videos, GPCs, etc.); recursos de gran carga formativa (tanto docente como discente) como Access Medicina, JoVE, Case Files Collection…
• Servicios Biblioteca HUF: accesos directos a formularios, al escritorio virtual, al Repositorio Institucional de la Consejería, a ¡este blog!
• Publicación científica: ¿dónde puedo enviar mi artículo para su publicación? ¿qué impacto tiene determinada revista? ¿se están citando mis publicaciones? ¿cómo elaboro la bibliografía de mi trabajo científico? todas estas preguntas se pretenden responder en este apartado

Ciclo formativo online «Web of Science» en marzo

de acuerdo con el Calendario de Formación 2022,  va a llevar a cabo unas jornadas de formación de Web of Science, durante el próximo mes de marzo, organizadas junto con Clarivate, dentro del I Ciclo de Formación Online de la base de datos WoS (recurso disponible a través de la BV de la Consejería de Sanidad y accesible desde la web de Biblioteca HUF), y que tendrán lugar entre el 07 y el 25 de marzo de 2022.

En esta ocasión se han establecido 15 sesiones gratuitas, en español, y de 75 minutos de duración, repitiéndose seis de las formaciones más demandadas en distinto horario. Estas formaciones están dirigidas a estudiantes universitarios, bibliotecarios, investigadores y cualquier usuario de la base de datos WoS.

El plazo de inscripción ya está abierto pudiéndose formalizar a través del siguiente enlace: INSCRIPCIÓN. Los asistentes a la sesión de formación online deberán responder a todos los cuestionarios online que se planteen durante el curso para recibir la encuesta y el posterior certificado de asistencia, a las tres semanas de finalización del ciclo de formación. Esto es una novedad de este año, pues se pretende emitir certificados que tengan más peso e importancia a la hora de presentarlos a concursos, convocatorias o ayudas, haciendo un seguimiento más efectivo de los asistentes a la formación.

Por último, es muy importante recordar a los usuarios que deben recibir el mail de confirmación de la sesión a la que se han inscrito, o no podrán acceder a las jornadas. Estos mails automáticos, en ocasiones, se almacenan en la carpeta de correo no deseado o SPAM, por lo que es conveniente que revisen dicha carpeta. Una vez que han recibido la confirmación, pueden comprobar la configuración de Webex de su equipo para no tener problemas el día de la sesión.

La interfaz Classic Web of Science retirada a partir de enero de 2022

La conocidísima plataforma Web of Science (WoS)  está disponible desde hace años para los usuarios de la Biblioteca HUF a través de la BV de la Consejería de Sanidad gracias a la suscripción nacional que realiza la FECyT. Se trata de una base de datos multidisciplinar que incluye las principales revistas científicas, libros, comunicaciones a congresos y, sobre todo, recopila las citas de esos trabajos (con las que a posteriori se elabora el tan discutido/temido Factor de Impacto del JCR, con sus cuartiles, deciles y demás que tanto condicionan a editores e investigadores de todo el mundo). En julio de 2021 se lanzó una nueva interfaz de la plataforma WoS, pensando más en el investigador: mayor velocidad y accesibilidad, usabilidad mejorada y nuevas funciones y contenido. Durante estos meses han convivido ambas versiones pero desde Clarivate nos comunican que van a  retirar la Classic Web of Science a principios de enero de 2022. Las principales novedades/aportaciones de la nueva interfaz las resumen así:

• Author Impact Beamplots: influencia académica de un investigador a lo largo del tiempo.

• Referencias citadas mejoradas: comprensión más profunda de cómo y por qué se citan los artículos con una visualización interactiva actualmente disponible para una selección de revistas.

• Capacidades de análisis institucional mejoradas: datos para tomar las decisiones correctas de gestión de colecciones con la búsqueda de afiliaciones y el nuevo filtro de editores.

• Soporte de descubrimiento integrado: resultados relevantes rápida y fácilmente en el nuevo sistema con recomendaciones de artículos, sugerencias sobre herramientas y visitas guiadas.

El acceso desde el portal A17 de la Biblioteca HUF previa identificación con claves.

MyRA: la app de Clarivate @webofscience para dispositivos móviles

La app es sencilla de utilizar y ofrece la posibilidad de localizar tanto artículos (WoS) como registros de revistas (JCR). Hay que identificarse con las claves de nuestro perfil en WoS/Publons y podemos empezar a realizar búsquedas (Documents / Journals) que además se quedan en el historial (Recent document/journal searches) para futuras ocasiones. De los resultados podemos ampliar información (tiene link vía DOI), ver el número de citas recibidas (Times cited, estaría muy bien que estuviera enlazado a las referencias citantes) y a las referencias citadas (Cited references, en este caso sí enlazado al detalle de las referencias bibliográficas)…

Por otro lado, podemos mantener nuestra lista de lecturas favoritas/pendientes (Reading List) tanto de documentos como de revistas. Una opción que me ha parecido muy interesante es la posibilidad de compartir (Share) los resultados en otras aplicaciones que tengamos instaladas (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) aunque el link que envía obliga al destinatario a tener instalada la app (lo he descubierto al encontrarme a un sobrino citado y querérselo compartir por WhatsApp :-) .

Acceso a GIDEON (plataforma de investigación sobre enfermedades infecciosas y epidemiología)

La Biblioteca Virtual de la Consejería de Sanidad ha formalizado con WoltersKluwer un trial de acceso a la base de datos GIDEON (Global Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology Network) en OVID, un recurso único dedicado a la detección, prevención y educación sobre enfermedades infecciosas, ideal para todo el que trabaje en este campo (clínicos, educadores, legisladores, farmacéuticos e investigadores). Este recurso multimedia ofrece información actualizada y herramientas visuales para diagnosticar enfermedades y realizar el seguimiento de las últimas tendencias en epidemiología y tratamiento.

Gideon ofrece:

• Datos completos de distribución, mapas de endemicidad con tasas por cada 100,000 personas, notas detalladas y más de 975 referencias de fuentes acreditadas.
• Descripciones detalladas de hallazgos clínicos y de laboratorio, notas de terapia, grupos de riesgo y estudios de imagen.
• Actualización diaria para garantizar que la información más actualizada y relevante esté disponible sin demora.
